Twitch logo PNG

Twitch's iconic brand mascot, affectionately named "Glitch", has served as the universal emblem of live streaming and gaming culture since the platform launched in June 2011. Founded by Justin Kan and Emmett Shear as a dedicated gaming spin-off of Justin.tv, Twitch quickly became the global epicenter for esports, video game broadcasts, and creator communities. The Glitch logo depicts an angular, stylized speech bubble featuring two rectangular eyes, brilliantly merging the concept of a live chat box with a retro 8-bit gaming character and television screen artifact.

In September 2019, Twitch unveiled an ambitious brand identity refresh created in collaboration with global design agency Collins. The redesign introduced a brighter, vibrant custom purple, refined geometric contours for the Glitch mascot, and bespoke blocky typography inspired by retro gaming display fonts, known as "Twitch Roobert". The files provided on this page, redrawn by Simple Icons, isolate the standalone Glitch mark in Twitch's signature purple (#9146FF). Simple Icons provides this artwork as a single flat vector shape without multi-layered extrusion shadows, making it exceptionally lightweight and versatile for modern web and app interfaces.

Creators, streamers, and developers searching for "twitch icon png", "twitch logo transparent", or "twitch logo black and white" usually require a versatile mark to showcase their streaming channels. On Twitch's official site and mobile apps, Glitch appears alongside the bold, blocky "twitch" wordmark or embedded within a purple square badge. However, in third-party creator overlays, stream alerts, and social footer bars, using the standalone Glitch symbol ensures maximum visual impact while preserving precious screen real estate.

Every file on this page is exported with a transparent background by default. A twitch logo png transparent download drops smoothly into OBS stream scenes, YouTube end-screens, Discord server banners, and dark-mode websites without leaving an awkward white box around the speech bubble. We offer five standard PNG resolutions ranging from 64px up to 1024px. The 64px and 128px sizes fit neatly into social sharing toolbars and profile cards, while 512px and 1024px files satisfy high-resolution monitors and promotional banners. If you need resolution-independent vector graphics for large event signage or responsive web applications, the twitch logo svg provides infinite scalability with mathematically sharp edges.

In addition to Twitch's signature purple (#9146FF), this page features dedicated solid black (#000000) and pure white (#FFFFFF) variants. The white Twitch mark is an essential staple for live-streaming overlays and dark UI themes, providing brilliant contrast when placed against gameplay broadcasts or dark chat sidebars. Meanwhile, the black variant delivers clean, professional clarity for printed event badges, esports tournament programs, and monochrome documentation.
