Reddit logo PNG

Reddit's beloved mascot and logo, affectionately known as "Snoo", was created in 2005 by co-founder Alexis Ohanian during college lectures at the University of Virginia. The name Snoo originated as a phonetic play on "What's new?", perfectly encapsulating Reddit's ambition to become the front page of the internet. Snoo is depicted as a friendly time-traveling extraterrestrial character featuring an oval-shaped head, curious glowing orange eyes, and a solitary curved antenna that communicates with the digital cosmos.

Over the years, Reddit's visual identity has evolved from a hand-drawn sketch into one of the most recognizable mascots on the web. In late 2023, Reddit unveiled an extensive brand refresh in collaboration with design consultancy Pentagram, introducing a three-dimensional rendered Snoo with tactile lighting and custom "Reddit Sans" typography. However, the assets available on this page represent the clean, two-dimensional flat silhouette popularized worldwide and maintained by Simple Icons. This flat redraw applies Reddit's signature color directly to the Snoo silhouette without complex 3D gradients, ensuring rapid loading times and flawless rendering on any digital surface.

Reddit's official brand palette is anchored by "Orangered" (#FF4500), an intense, energetic shade of red-orange originally derived from the platform's iconic upvote button. When people search for a "reddit logo png", "reddit icon png", or "reddit snoo png", they frequently need an asset that pairs seamlessly with other social forum badges. Simple Icons renders Snoo's classic head outline with its signature curved antenna, creating an instantly recognizable glyph that holds up even when scaled down to a tiny 16px favicon.

Every graphic export on this page comes equipped with a transparent background by default. A reddit logo png transparent file drops directly into community sidebars, Twitch stream overlays, gaming wiki footers, and app interfaces without displaying an unwanted rectangular background block. We supply five standardized PNG resolutions ranging from 64px up to 1024px. The 64px and 128px variants are tailored for compact social widgets, while 512px and 1024px assets provide crisp definition for presentation slides and high-resolution monitors. If you require resolution-independent artwork for large-format printing or vector UI design, the reddit logo svg download offers infinite scalability with zero quality loss.

In addition to the vibrant Orangered (#FF4500) mark, this page includes dedicated solid black (#000000) and pure white (#FFFFFF) variants. Monochromatic logos are essential for dark-mode web development, where intense orange tones might distract from primary content or clash with customized community themes. The white Snoo badge provides clean, striking contrast on black navigation bars and midnight-blue footers, while the black variant delivers crisp clarity across grayscale documents and monochrome print publications.
