About the Google Drive logo png
Launched by Google on April 24, 2012, Google Drive redefined cloud storage, file synchronization, and collaborative document editing for over one billion active users worldwide. Drive integrated Google's office suite — Docs, Sheets, and Slides — into a unified cloud workspace accessible from any browser or mobile operating system. A google drive logo png search is targeted at Drive's iconic isometric triangle emblem, which represents continuous synchronization, seamless teamwork, and cloud accessibility.
Unlike single flat-fill redraws, the Google Drive asset featured on this page is a direct reproduction of Google's genuine, currently-shipping multi-color artwork. The mark forms an impossible triangle (inspired by the Penrose triangle and Möbius strip) with three interconnected bands in Google Blue, Green, and Yellow, accented by subtle darker tones at the corner overlaps to convey depth and continuous circular flow. Providing this authentic multi-color asset ensures that your UI mockups, slide decks, and integration cards look genuine and professional.
It is worth distinguishing the Google Drive umbrella icon from individual Google Workspace file formats. Searches for "google drive logo transparent" or "google drive icon png" specifically seek this three-sided isometric triangle, which represents the storage platform itself. By contrast, Google Docs (blue document), Google Sheets (green spreadsheet), and Google Slides (yellow presentation) carry their own specialized rectangular document emblems within the Workspace ecosystem. In October 2020, Google refreshed the Drive triangle with slightly rounded vertices and harmonized Google Workspace color values.
Every graphic export on this page comes standard with a transparent background. A google drive logo transparent download ensures that the triangular emblem drops seamlessly into SaaS integration cards, cloud backup guides, file upload dialogues, and client presentations without an unwanted white bounding box. We offer five standard PNG resolutions: 64px and 128px for app integrations and cloud storage badges, 256px and 512px for blog headers and landing pages, and 1024px for high-resolution displays. For infinite scalability across design systems and print media, the google drive logo svg provides flawless vector clarity at any resolution.
In addition to the authentic multi-color original, this page includes monochrome solid black (#000000) and pure white (#FFFFFF) variants. These single-color versions are cleanly derived from the authentic triangle geometry, offering crisp contrast for midnight developer themes, dark-mode cloud dashboards, and single-color print publications where color ink isn't available. Google pairs the mark with Product Sans (and Google Sans), its clean geometric sans-serif typeface.
When featuring the Google Drive logo in commercial cloud applications, backup utilities, or workflow integrations, comply with Google brand standards. This file is a reproduction of Google's actual multi-color Drive emblem rather than Simple Icons' flat-color CC0 artwork. "Google Drive" and the Drive triangle logo remain registered trademarks of Google LLC. Using the emblem to denote cloud compatibility (such as "Sync with Google Drive" or "Google Drive Integration Available") is standard nominative fair use, provided you do not suggest official Google endorsement or sponsorship. Consult our usage guidelines page for complete guidance.
