Acer logo PNG

Founded in Hsinchu, Taiwan, in 1976 by tech visionary Stan Shih, his wife Carolyn Yeh, and five co-founders under the original name Multitech, Acer rebranded in 1987 (deriving its name from the Latin word for "sharp," "keen," or "energetic") and rose to become one of the world's top personal computer, laptop, monitor, and consumer electronics conglomerates. Renowned for pioneering affordable, high-performance computing through its Aspire, Swift, and Chromebook laptop lines, as well as dominating the competitive PC gaming market with its acclaimed Predator and Nitro sub-brands, Acer operates across more than 160 countries. In 2011, Acer unveiled its modern, friendly logo redesign, trading its historic dark green diamond emblem for a sleek, contemporary lowercase sans-serif wordmark. The mark features rounded, flowing contours and a distinctive hook-shaped curved letter "e" that symbolizes approachable technology, digital energy, and human-centric computing. An Acer logo png download delivers this celebrated global consumer technology mark.

The signature corporate color of Acer is energetic lime green, designated by hex code #83B81A (RGB: 131, 184, 26). Adopted during the 2011 brand transformation, this vibrant lime green replaced the previous corporate forest green to communicate environmental sustainability, youth, agility, modern innovation, and approachable technology. The vector assets on this page are clean, single-color flat Simple Icons redraws of the official Acer lowercase lettermark glyph. Built without gradient overlays or drop shadows, this flat geometric representation renders with razor-sharp fidelity across hardware directories, laptop comparison guides, tech review articles, and retail storefronts.

Disambiguating Acer from botanical terms and competing hardware manufacturers is important for tech enthusiasts. In botany and agriculture, "Acer" is the scientific genus name for maple trees and shrubs (such as Acer palmatum or Acer saccharum). In consumer technology, Acer is a distinct Taiwanese hardware manufacturer separate from Taiwanese neighbor Asus, American PC giants HP and Dell, or Chinese manufacturer Lenovo. Searches for "acer logo png," "acer green logo," "acer laptop logo," "acer transparent logo," and "acer predator emblem" specifically identify this global computing hardware company.

Every graphic export on this page incorporates an alpha transparent background. An Acer logo transparent download ensures seamless, friction-free integration onto computer hardware directories, retail tech e-commerce sites, gaming setup showcases, and dark-mode software interfaces without an awkward white bounding box. We supply five standardized PNG resolutions: 64px and 128px for retailer badges and navigation menus, 256px and 512px for tech review thumbnails and laptop benchmark guides, and 1024px for major consumer electronics show (CES) banners and high-resolution print publications. The Acer logo svg download delivers infinite vector scalability, making it the ideal asset for hardware schematics, vinyl decal cutting, and responsive web design.

Alongside the signature lime green (#83B81A) asset, this page provides pre-rendered solid black (#000000) and pure white (#FFFFFF) versions. The white Acer logo is an essential asset for dark-mode tech blogs, midnight gaming wallpaper setups, and dark laptop lid mockups, delivering striking optical contrast against dark backgrounds. The solid black version ensures clean, formal clarity for printed computer manuals, warranty documentation, and patent filings. The typography is a custom geometric rounded sans-serif characterized by soft inner fillets, balanced proportions, and the signature curved "e" that gives the brand its friendly modern identity.
