500px logo PNG

Founded in Toronto, Canada, in 2009 by Oleg Gutsol and Evgeny Tchebotarev, 500px established itself as the premier global photography community and commercial licensing marketplace for professional and enthusiast photographers. The platform's unique name traces its roots to the early days of digital photography and web design, when 500 pixels was considered the optimal width for displaying high-resolution photographs on computer monitors without horizontal scrolling. In 2015, 500px unveiled a dramatic brand identity overhaul developed in collaboration with design agency Focus Lab. The centerpiece of this redesign is an ingenious, fluid monogram glyph that evokes a camera lens aperture, a fingerprint, and a twisting shutter dial while seamlessly drawing the characters "5", "0", "0", "p", and "x" into a singular, continuous geometric spiral. A 500px logo png download delivers this celebrated visual mark.

The primary brand color of 500px is deep charcoal black, represented by hex code #222222 (RGB: 34, 34, 34). This understated, gallery-like dark tone ensures that user photography remains the vibrant hero of the interface, eliminating chromatic distraction while conveying luxury and artistic sophistication. The vector files available here are clean, single-color flat Simple Icons redraws of the authentic aperture monogram. Rendered without drop shadows or artificial gradients, this flat graphic displays flawlessly across photography portfolio footers, photo editing apps, exhibition guides, and digital marketing materials.

Due to its numerical and technical name, search queries for 500px frequently collide with generic web development and graphic dimensions. Users searching for "500px" or "500 x 500" are often looking to resize images to 500 pixels wide for profile pictures, avatars, or CSS container widths rather than seeking the photography social network. Searches for "500px logo png," "500px photography icon," "500px logo vector," "500px camera mark," and "500px transparent logo" pinpoint this prestigious photo-sharing platform.

Every graphic export on this page comes equipped with an alpha transparent background. A 500px logo transparent download guarantees clean, borderless placement onto dark photography portfolio layouts, social media link trees, Lightroom preset websites, and creative agency slide decks without an awkward white bounding box. We supply five standardized PNG resolutions: 64px and 128px for portfolio bio links and social icon rows, 256px and 512px for blog post headers and camera review thumbnails, and 1024px for gallery exhibition posters and high-resolution print banners. The 500px logo svg download provides infinite mathematical vector precision, making it the ideal asset for scalable web apps and high-density Retina displays.

In addition to the signature charcoal (#222222) asset, this page provides pre-rendered solid black (#000000) and pure white (#FFFFFF) versions. The white 500px logo is an essential asset for dark-mode websites, midnight photographer portfolios, and dark UI overlays, ensuring crisp optical clarity against moody background images. The typography associated with 500px is a clean, contemporary geometric sans-serif that mirrors the circular arcs and precise angles of the aperture glyph.
